Puppy Policy Points to Ponder..

We at Shalgo Setters make no guarantees as to the hunting abilities of individual pups. It is your responsibility to invest the proper time, training and dedication required in order to extract the highest potential in your dog.

Our responsibility is to provide you with a healthy well socialized puppy which contains all the necessary attributes needed to become a loyal, loving and faithful hunting companion and/or family pet.

We at Shalgo Setters strongly recommend a complete health examination of your new pup at 9 weeks of age when the next set of vaccinations is due. This examination validates your Bill of Sale Agreement. If a legitimate problem is detected, we will replace your puppy with one from another litter or provide a full refund of your pups purchase price upon receipt of the puppy and a veterinary health certificate detailing the diagnosed illness or defect within the first 16 weeks of purchase.

A Shalgo Setter puppy may be reserved with a $150.00 deposit which will be applied to the purchase price of your new pup. Reservations are taken in the order that they are received which guarantees your pick in sequential order. Puppies are to be picked-up at 7 weeks of age and no later than 12 weeks unless special arrangements have been made with Shalgo Setters management.

Please fill out and send in the "Reservation Form" and your deposit check if you wish to reserve a puppy. We will contact you by e-mail to let you know we have received your deposit. You will also be told your order of puppy selection based on sex. Call us to answer any questions. (540) 892-5646.

Final payment shall be made by cash or cashier's check only. No personal checks will be accepted for final payment. Any checks made payable to: Jackie Tate

There is a $75.00 per week boarding fee for any puppy kenneled here after 8 weeks of age.

Male puppies are $600.00 and Female puppies are $700.00.

Shalgo Setters will fly your puppy to you for an additional fee of $375.00. This fee includes airfare, an airline approved kennel, health certificate and needed supplies. Puppies must be 8 weeks of age before they will be accepted by the airlines. Please call us for more information.
